Steinenene er først vasket og desinfisert for å bli rene for innsekter og planterester. Deretter er motivet malt med akrylmaling. Tilsist er de lakket for å kunne tåle fuktighet. Under er det limt et mykt belegg for å skåne underlaget. Bakpå steinen er det kontaktinfo på kunstner. 
 
The stones are first washed and disinfected to be clean of insects and plant debris. The motive is then painted with acrylic paint. Finally, they are varnished to withstand moisture. Below, a soft coating is glued to protect the surface. On the back of the stone there is contact information for the artist.
